Training and Seminars for Building Cleaning

Technical knowledge that reaches the site – taught by practitioners, tailored to your business and your sites.

Knowledge that reaches the site

In facility services, expertise usually builds up on the side: by watching, by copying, and through the experience that something works or does not. That carries a long way – until a site manager has to hold a complaint meeting, understand an evaluation matrix or lead a team across several locations.

Standard training rarely helps here. It is either too general, because it has to suit every sector, or too theoretical, because it comes from someone who has never been responsible for a site.

What helps is working through your own sites and your own cases.

Why our training works

01

Practitioners, not lecturers

We have been operationally responsible for cleaning and security services and have procured them from the client side. The examples come from real procedures and real sites.

02

Tailored to your business

We work with your service specifications, your sites and your cases. Whatever does not fit you, we leave out.

03

For both sides of the contract

Service providers learn what clients expect. Clients learn what can actually be delivered at the site. Both are useful – and we can teach both.

Our formats at a glance

All formats can be booked individually. For extensive subjects, a series over several dates with gaps in between has proved its worth – so that what was discussed can be tried out in the business before the next block follows. We agree content and examples with you beforehand.

01

Site management in building cleaning

Running sites: area planning, staff deployment, quality assurance, handling complaints, documentation for the client.

02

Tendering for clients

How to produce a service specification that holds up in daily practice: areas and benchmark figures, quality criteria, evaluation, typical sources of error.

03

Quality assurance on site

Checking, assessing, documenting: what can be established objectively, how it is recorded, when a deviation is material.

04

Occupational safety and hygiene

Instruction duties, hazardous substances, hygiene requirements in sensitive areas – practical, not as a catalogue of regulations.

05

Leading a cleaning team

Leading under particular conditions: marginal working hours, distributed locations, high turnover, language barriers.

06

Individual in-house formats

You have a specific subject. We build the training around it – after a preliminary discussion and using your own documents.

07

When training alone is not enough

Some things cannot be settled in a seminar room. When a site manager starts to struggle in daily work, or a team is finding its feet again, we come on site: walk along, observe, discuss afterwards. That is not training but hands-on support – and it often works faster.

Open courses through the IFZG

Alongside company-specific training, the Institut für Fortbildung und Zertifizierung im Gebäudereiniger-Handwerk (IFZG), the training and certification institute of the German building cleaning trade, offers open course formats – for individual participants from different companies.

Frequently asked questions

The questions we are asked most often

Who is the training intended for?

Primarily for site managers, supervisors and managers at service providers. Alongside them, for staff on the client side who look after contracts or prepare tenders – in local authorities, hospitals, educational institutions and property management.

Does the training take place at our premises?

On request, yes. In-house has the advantage that we can work with your own sites and documents, and your team has no travel. If you prefer a neutral setting, we arrange that as well.

How long does a seminar last?

Most formats are designed for one day, a few for half a day. For extensive subjects such as site management, a series over several dates has proved its worth – with gaps in between, so that what was discussed can be tried out in the business.

Is there a certificate of attendance?

Yes, every participant receives a certificate stating content and scope. It serves as evidence towards clients and for the documentation in your quality management system.

Do you also train security staff?

No. Our training covers building cleaning – site management, quality assurance, occupational safety and leading a cleaning team. The security sector has its own qualification routes with statutory requirements, which we do not cover. What we do offer in both fields is the advisory work itself: from tendering through security concepts to performance monitoring.
